Weather conditions were fairly good for football at the stadium today. Starters: Coenegracht - Kervinen, Taboin - Witcher, Kiszi, Zima, Randall - Amorim, Miranda, Godoy.

The following players had been chosen: Ibrahim - Cogonbrellas, Martínez, Tornaghi, Sottocornola - Lehmann, Kaaku, Dhanvade - Kawała, Zabeer, del Olmo.

Mengo/Várzea Medicine 3012 fielded a 2-4-3 lineup. For Blätzbums International, the formation of choice was 4-3-3. Mengo/Várzea decided to play creatively at a titanic level. Mengo/Várzea took the lead 2 minutes in, as Veikko Kervinen broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. After 13 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Mengo/Várzea found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to weak. Mengo/Várzea's José Luiz Miranda saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 28 minutes. International almost scored after a swift counterattack 29 minutes into the game, but Zenek Kawała put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. 32 minutes into the game, International seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. After 43 minutes of play, International's Ilyas Kaaku unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and Ausam Zabeer slotted it into the net for 1 - 1. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Mengo/Várzea enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

During the break, Mengo/Várzea's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of International was able to get his message across, and raised International's organisation to solid. 1 - 2 was the score with 58 minutes played, after Shailendra Dhanvade cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for International. 70 minutes into the game, Mengo/Várzea seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. Mengo/Várzea's Camilo Godoy put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 2 - 2 with 71 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. 74 minutes in, International appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. A questionable penalty 79 minutes in gave the home side the lead, 3 - 2. The visitors' goalie didn't stand a chance as Camilo Godoy knocked the ball home. Mengo/Várzea managed to extend their lead to 4 - 2 when Camilo Godoy cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. That made three goals for Camilo Godoy and he was marked down for the hat trick. Cheers filled the stadium as José Luiz Miranda broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 2 to Mengo/Várzea. The referee announced 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 5 - 2. Mengo/Várzea had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

Mengo/Várzea's best player was Derrick Witcher. Micah Randall was a disappointment, however. The most dominating International player was without a doubt Christoph Lehmann. However, Ali Ibrahim made a disastrous appearance.
